Molex + Chicago Marathon

Molex, the leader in electronic components, was a proud sponsor of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. This sponsorship included a booth at the Health and Fitness Expo, social media, microsite, promotional items, online and offline advertising.

For this year's exhibit, I created a museum-style exhibition that juxtaposed the history of the marathon along side the history of electronics. By showing the relationship between the two, we were able to highlight the impact electronics has had on the running community over the decades. Artifacts representing both the running world and personal electronics were artfully arranged in display cases, accented by dimensional signage creating a rich experience for the viewer.
